Why would excutives visit without notice?

Why would excutives visit without notice to the call center. 5 plus upper management made a surprise visit. I am worried. Our call center has been less calls and giving more etime. Should we be worried? I am expecting my first child very soon I am worried I will not have a job to return too. 😞

Not sure if it relates to you or not but they are doing something out west when mobility managers come spend a day in the call center to try to see what call center employees deal with. Not sure if that is what is going on here or if they are looking to surplus your center

how bad is the attendance at the mobility call center? right now all of the ones that have poor attendance are being looked at first for any type of reduction.

Yes, you should be worried. Been through it and was surplused.

There is apparently a hiring freeze across the entire entertainment group. Employee attrition is so high in call centers that will be an interesting year if the company does not start hiring again. What call center is it? Mobility or landline?

You gave no indication of where this call center is, so its hard to guess why they were there. There could be many reasons.

First, with 5 people touring the call center, doubtful it was a surprise. Maybe local management didn't spread the word. For sure, the leader of the call center knew, and probably others.

It may have been for no other reason than to meet with local management and be able to slip in the door with little warning or notice for organized labor.

Has your call center been losing employees, and not replacing them through new classes? Does your center have only 40 people, in a call center built for 300? Then you might worry.
