I got a package and left in November 2015. In hindsight it was the best news I got in a long time. Don't fear it. You all deserve much better than the way your being treated by VZ.
I have heard as many as 30,000 people were laid off today. I can confirm 1,000 definitely at this time, myself included.
Tulsa layoffs? LOL. I hope it hits the gutless and spineless boot-lickers that moved there due to Shammwow's "Finance Transformation" or one of the preppy frat guy, protein-shake swillin', c---y fresh-out-of-college hires so pervasive around there. If it's the latter, maybe the rest of the millennials will take the hint and leave on their own accord, putting revenue assurance activity in even more of a lurch than it was when 1000's of years of experience were forced out.
