I have heard on here and through stores mixed responses. Anyone have a for sure answer on either question?

If a RSC's is a part timer, does the seniority counts?
My manager said his goal was to work less. Yeah, he isn't writing anyone up. We have our ups and downs but we stay on our ps and qs
@6jps- I have to respectfully disagree. We have recently seen things that used to be job performance disciplines twisted around to customer abuse and an automatic FWW for COBC.
And yes, if you don't do the "behavior" that they want, you will take a hit on your job performance metrics, and can be placed on a job performance discipline, unless as was previously described they can twist it into a COBC.
"I heard our arsm yelling at our store manager on a call in the office ; stating that all the reps in the store have to be at 100% in the key metric areas, dtv- WOW, protection,CRU, accessories - and anyone who is not, to put them all on final write up. Stating that they will fire everyone in the store and that they did not care as the reps don't value their job because they are all not at 100%. The company really values its employees huh?"
That is bs... because they don't do performance write ups. It's behaviors and you can't jump to final.
Performance won't matter if there is a layoff
It will be on seniority and nothing else..
They will more than likely handle it by area like they did with the SSR's a few years back although they didn't have enough to layoff...
They will take everyone that is a fulltime RSC and put them on a list...if they are looking to get rid of 30%, they will round up 100 reps and the bottom 30 will be let go. The remaining reps might actually not even worth in their current stores. They might move people around if they can, if a stores ends up having not enough people. In which case they ask the ones with highest senority if they want to move and if they do they can switch stores, otherwise it gets down to the lowest on the pole and they will be forced to move.

@AnonTFS-Like it or not, yes, that's correct.
@1gxf - Could you please provide the labor agreement that includes AGE as a factor? I don't believe it's used with bargained employees, and you won't find it in writing for management although we know it probably exists. The unions have access to employee names and seniority, and can easily see if it's not done correctly.
Considerations are, AGE, Salary, unfortunately performance is not considered
you only get to go to summit if you are employed by the company "in good standing". I believe surplus does not count as good standing so they can keep you from going if you get surplussed. AEs who won summit cant even attend because it occurs a few weeks after they are off payroll.
They are now doing agressive observances on "behavoirs" etc. Don't be surprised if suddenly your managers are involves more in your interations. Fellow coworkers who worked for Verizon said Verizon does this already.
@ bwi
"Performance and / or discipline mean nothing. "
Wow really, so only old dinos who might be good employees will stay?
RSC's are absolutely not safe if the ASM's being promoted who actually do things are not safe.
Can you please elaborate more on your statements. This stuff is confusing for me to understand. Sorry!
And RSC's are bargained. Surplus is strictly by seniority. Performance and / or discipline mean nothing. Refer to your labor agreement.
Unless surplused, if you win Summit, you will go. I know this with 100% certainty.
