Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Where did the axe fall?

I'm very curious to see what groups got hit very hard, what groups came away relatively undamaged, and what parts of the country were affected. Things like corporate vs retail vs installation tech vs call centers? Dallas vs Atlanta vs New York vs LA?

Does anyone know, or know where to find, that information?

We supported a community organizer who was a hidden millionaire with zero experience so maybe its time to have a millionaire who we know is one.

That's why we need to make sure our congress reps do represent us. Also I think twitter should be banned.

Twitter and Facebook create more problems than solve.

At this point the only thing we can do is push the reps

Trump has filled his cabinet with billionaires and Wall Street CEOs. His Secretary of Education believes federal funding is better used for private and charter schools than for public schools. His Secretary of Labor is openly hostile to workers. And yet there are still some idiots here who think that Trump - the same guy who still outsources work for his companies and who is more focused on twittering than governing - will actually make it a point to try and help save jobs.

PT Barnum was right - nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.

Let me see how many Hillary supporters posed on this post.

Once Trump starts the push to stop outsourcing companies will run to keep from getting listed as one that does. That alone will solve the problem. Will it stop 100%? no but for the most part it will keep a lot more home.

It's always amazing how clueless the low information voters are on the facts about Clinton and her corruptness and back door payments. It's like the kids who don't want to hear something and plug their ears and sing lalalalalalalalalal

ATT will outsource as many as possible and use H1b visas for those jobs, left in the states, Randall does not seem to share the same US workers first policy as Trump. Instead of fighting Trump focus i who is actually doing this.

Why is it no one is focusing on ATT management that is guiding this policy. These are the same people that will cry once Randall outsources your jobs. If there is no TW the axe will fall everywhere, no one will be safe. ATT will owe TW over. Billion in termination fees. No worries, Leadership will get bonuses off of cutting your job

And where is the union, they will see a big decrease in dues after all of the cuts and outsourcing. Oh they are at dinner at Randall's

People who think Trump gives a rat's arse about stopping the work bleeding out of the country are fools and should be first on the layoff list.

ATT needs to be stopped in its outsourcing to other countries AND the union needs to wake up and spend some of the dues fighting this. People who think Trump is wrong in his attempt to stop the work bleeding out of the country are fools and should be first on the layoff list.

You won't know this information unless you have a friend in HR or upper management. AT but I'm sure Trump will eliminate this law if we just give him another 30 seconds.
