Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Any word on a spring comp change for RSC's

I'm wondering if it will look anything like the new ASM plan. I can't see them raising hourly, but it would seem a commission minimization is coming.

I can't see a $5 raise across the board. That would put a capped employee at a base of almost 49k.

Every comp change that we have had, and especially the last - has one theme in mind. Get bent. Has anyone ever wondered what the " A " in AT&T means ? Stand up, spread your legs, and bend over. Welcome to the death star. Now throw your conscious out the window, and get on with some unethical sales. Bring 37 accessories to every transaction and ask each customer 9 times why they will not get digital life. Over pay your executives and DOS,ARSM and anyone in corporate who makes decisions just because they have a degree. Never mind that they have never spent any time on the front line or dealt with a real transaction. Ya we get paid awesome, don't get me wrong, the benefits are amazing. But justification for over-paid salaries does not make it right. Pushing numbers instead of ethical treatment of customers is trending now, more than I have ever seen in 15 years with the death star. Instead of laying off the front line employees, wipe out middle to upper management. Rehire new college graduate millennials, pay them 30% less than what your paying the current buffoons. You see this way, the current employees who work on the front line - you know - the ones actually making revenue for the company, they continue to make the company money. Its a novel concept. Crazy huh. These are the reps that are making actual profit for the company. Ever looked into actual numbers, you know, year end - and added it up into real actual profit for the company ? Take into effect the time frame it takes for the customer to make you a real profit, hourly / commission / benefits for the employee, the over head of the store, rent, utilities, the product the customer received and holy csp - you made the company an easy million. Pretty freaking insane batman. And all you want is to keep your measly job and the money your making. Meanwhile upper management and their greed is making hundreds of thousand of dollars more, year over year and giving themselves great stock options or bonuses. But hey, some of them have opted not to take a salary at all on occasion. What a team player.
