I am still laughing at the fact people think millions of dollars in accessory sales will save the company. One time revenue will never replace recurring revenue, sorry. Your store can sell all the otterboxes and drones it wants but if you have poor opps and wired numbers, prepare for the closed sign on the door.

The "topic at hand" is layoffs. The topic you wrote about was your uneducated opinion on retail stores, which by the way is wrong. They bring MILLIONS OF dollars of value, monthly, in accessory sales alone. I would venture that some of these dollars go to supporting whatever less important job you claim you do (or prevent you getting laid off sooner). People that work in the retail stores are not concerned with your opinion on retail stores. We want actual, real information on potential layoffs. The website is called The Layoff, ie the topic at hand. It is not called Random Person's Opinion on Future of Retail who BTWs is an idiot.com. Clearly the Internet is one day going to kill most if not all retail Jobs in the world, and probably yours too, whatever you do. What was that again?

T is a very large company and just because someone does not use the same jargon as retail does not mean they do not work here and it is certainly no reason to attack them. Get a grip.

i thought retail would be completely shut down by now but I was wrong. Tons of customers still go to stores in the mall and everyone over 45 will be going to stores until 2060

You also call them "cell phone stores," which shows your ignorance. If you actually work for AT&T, understand you are totally clueless, which means a layoff is coming your way. If you don't work for T, I'm sure your employer (if you even work) is wise to you.

Bravo......feel better. Agree you are brilliant and judgemental to boot assuming that all reps are lazy because they are in sales for 4 years. For all you that lost their jobs or stressed of what's coming please know that at&t employees have a great reputation and another company would welcome you with open arms. No I am not a rep but in management and appreciate all of those hard working reps. It's the people that depend on the reps to make them look good that will have trouble surviving in another job.
