AT&T culture. Promote what you're doing right and downplay what you're doing wrong. Keep Wallstreet happy by feeding them crud and things will work out

Everything is perfect, be happy. Look only at the shiny smile and the bright glitter, do not look behind the curtain.

Amazing , I also looked at the link and find the original post to be false. Here is a JD Powers statement

Verizon Wireless ranks highest in five of the six regions, with typically lower PP100 scores than the regional averages in call quality, messaging quality and data quality. U.S. Cellular, absent from the study since 2014, ranks highest in the North Central region and excels in most network problem areas, especially call quality and data quality.

The 2016 U.S. Wireless Network Quality Performance Study—Volume 2 is based on responses from 43,300 wireless customers. Carrier performance is examined in six geographic regions: Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, North Central, Southwest and West. In addition to evaluating the network quality experienced by customers with wireless phones, the study also measures the network performance of tablets and mobile broadband devices. The study was fielded January through June 2016.

ATT pays big for the awards. JD hides poor ratings. The 2016 rating are in the ink below. Verizon is on top and ATT never made it out of average or lower. The Idiot who posted the wonderful JD Powers rating must have found a made up report ATT sends to employees to keep from having to provide more info or search on their own.

It is amazing how low information people believe without checking on their own.

Ok so who thinks J.D Power is doing this for customers or do you think ATT pays for the reports with big dollars? J.D. Powers SELLS their recommendations and always has.

Wake up and realize the post was from a bigtime Kool-Aid drinker and probably 3rd or 4th level management.

Coverage is spotty in many places. Awards like this are more about corporate stroking than real analysis.

"To be able to use the J.D. Power logo and to quote the survey results in advertising, companies must pay a licensing fee to J.D. Power. These advertisement licensing fees, however, form a small part of J.D. Power's revenues, but a substantial portion of earnings."

Actually I rarely hear people complain about AT&T's coverage or service, and I live in an area where the coverage isn't great compared to other parts of the country. Regardless of internal layoffs, idiot middle leadership, and other culture issues, the coverage itself is pretty awesome.
