You better go back in the history of this page and go look at their promises from February of 2016 then look at what they did to a large number of people on February 16th of last year. Brace yourselves: The layoffs are coming. They just need a few gullible fools to hang on long enough to burn their vacation balances, complete inventory and get them through half semester class starts. Many of you will be looking for jobs by April 1.

After the last layoffs, I don't think leadership would lie to its employees again. I think the layoffs are over.
the last time i saw our gvp she did try to help students find books... it was comical.
Trust them...ya right. A reduction in useless executives would be a good start of earning my trust.
Only time I want to see a vp in a store is if they helping & not sharing how important they are.
That is a tough call. I think I will give them one more chance and trust their word this time since it was public at town hall.

They said that before then in no time layoffs were happening again. If they don't do layoffs they will come after salary reductions across the board.
FINALLY! A PUBLIC STATEMENT FROM LEADERSHIP THAT LAYOFFS ARE OVER. NO.MORE.LAYOFFS. I have waited four years for this announcement. I think leadership finally realized that you can only cut so much.

Sure there are, hire more VP's, layoff employees!!! Pretty only the VP's will be left, would like to see them box & ship books.
