COR RSCs now required to do Cold Calls

Anyone who had been an RSC longer than 6 years may remember doing ROCCS calls. A list of customers who had overages or close to going over, we'd call and move their plan up.

Well, now we are being required to make cold calls on behalf of the Small Business team for sells.

With the Current commission structure an RSC can not make 6 figures just a pipe dream. The commission Is capped at 200% except for wired. Had a coworker last year came In on his days off for overtime, maxed out on his numbers every month. He Is going to Summit at the Bahamas this year which Is Great but he was not even close to the 6 figure mark lol :). Unless you have a wired community It Is nearly Impossible to make 6 figures with current commission structure.

@3ujg- you're pretty ignorant, the poster below you didn't say they were still a rep, and even if they were, WHO CARES? I know many RSCs who have been with the company over 10 years and make 6 figures, more than management, I had a rep who just wanted to sell, no other responsibilities, and he maxes out his comp every month, Summit every year, so leave your negativity behind, there's enough of it from the company. And I am NOT a troll either....

its completely optional and the union will back you on that. The fact that you were around when ROCCS was and you're still a RSC is pretty sad though, so I can see how you're that type of person to look at this negatively.

We have been testing the UP tool (cold calling) in my market for quite some time. It was optional at first, but when RSCs were failing to hit their CRU goal, it became a requirement or a write up was initiated. I feel as if this tool was created to slowly eliminate the small business team and put more of their responsibilities on RSCs. The purpose of a small business rep is to help RSCs close business deals more easily. It seems as if that role is now reversed.

Mycsp says this is in trials and opt in. Does that mean you'll be demonized by your managers and arsm when you decline the opt in? I think so!

I hated ROCCS and I'm sure this will just be as enjoyable.

It's not required and you can't be forced to do it, it specifically says that it's opt in
