Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Why isn't the board demanding Randy's resignation?

This earnings report is a joke. T hedging on DirecTV now. We need a new captain this one isnt keeping us from hitting the iceberg.

We never will, but I would love to see the board's justification for keeping Randall and anyone else who signed off on the T-Mobile deal.

Agree with poster about ol' randy the rat surviving the t-mo failed deal. Any other company and the board would have called for his head to roll and not suffered fools gladly when things went wrong.

If he wasn't gone after T-Mobile....why would they get rid of him now? How the hell did he survive that fiasco?

Surplusses will continue just before each quarter to bolster savings and still provide that blood-covered dividend. Cannot wait to be gone. Maybe I'll get lucky with a surplus before I actually hit my "plan to chunk the deuce" day in Q2. This company is the devil.

My understanding is the dividends are very important to the board.

They are for the money, when things start to crumble, they will abandon ship

  1. He's a smooth operator with a gift of gab and a consummate salesman who can spin the spin.

  2. The stock pays dividends

Tied to #1 he continues to make promises that has investors hanging on..waiting for the stock to "pop". It's temporary though. I think people are starting to catch on. He's not innovating just amassing debt with the shiny object syndrome.
