It's being alleged against me I used the Verizon truck to do personal errands and carry family members. I did no such thing. Verizon has presented zero edvidence against me. Don't most people on suspension get their jobs back and receive back pay ? Such a great time of the year to suspend people! What's the longest you've heard someone be on suspension? My manager has no idea when and if I'll return or even how long the investigation may take.
Also can you claim unemployment when on suspension?

They would be absolutely appalled at the toxic dysfunctional work environment levied by high school GED managers. and when I say GED I mean it! The management staff in the NYC boroughs is an absolute embasement to a top "fortune 500 company" They behave more like gang members that they do managers.

Yes but it is also time for the membership to stand up for themselves, work very safely, and flood the company with grievances over this ongoing campaign of harassment. If everyone had this mentality, this abusive treatment from management would stop. It is a stupid, ill-advised strategy, that shows the lack of true talent in wireline mgmnt.
We are part of Verizon too, even though they behave like we are their enemies. People need to stop being afraid of Vz management. They are answerable for what they do if you challenge them. Inside and outside the company.

If you're operating a newer fleet passenger vehicle with GPS/telematics, There is a sensor in the front passenger seat that measures the weight of your passenger and sends it to the vehicle computer. This is done so the airbag deploys with the correct force (1st gen airbags used to over inflate and hurt kids so they added a sensor to let the computer know what force to inflate with) Vz fleet can tell if a child or adult is sitting in the front passenger seat....realtime. If you're driving around w/o a seatbelt, with underinflated tires, etc. Lowell is watching you!!!
I agree that 1st and 2nd level managers justify their jobs through relentless discipline. It is not just the technicians, it is other departments. And the company wants to know why so many employees go out on stress, disability, or just retire early if they are able to.

1 and 2 level managers in Verizon Fios are useless non needed employees and they know it......The only way they can justify their jobs is through relentless discipline....The problem with that is Verizon is not a corrections facility full of hardened inmates, although if you visit any garage the technicians will tell you that exactly how they feel coming to work every day. as if they are inmates and the 1st levels are correction officers and the 2nd level is the warden.....It absolutely ridiculous
Corporate needs to see what's going on down here in the trenches. I know people that are literally sick coming to work every day....It's No way to run a business and forget the customer I just want to go home every day
I not only collected unemployment, also was made whole with wages and overtime , got a good vacation out of it.

Yep you sure can! Although they will fight it tooth and nail! They use Equifax to process appeals. Most of the states Verizon is in are claimant friendly states.
