The proposed merger between AT&T and Time Warner poses serious anti-competition questions hence anti-consumer concerns, and that federal regulators must answer before approving the deal.

Mostly, however, AT&T’s nearly $85 billion acquisition, with a premium above Time Warner’s value could accelerate consolidation in the telecom and media landscape?

it’s hard to argue that consolidation increases competition. These are the types of concerns that AT&T must allay before regulators sign off on this. Regulators could exact concessions that prevent AT&T from acting anti-competitively. But these kinds of agreements do not operate in perpetuity. They have time limits. What happens after?

I do not remember AT&T in past agreement living to the concessions required by regulators in past acquisitions, remember Bellsouth, and DTV?

maybe writing to jd powers and goodhousekeeping about att will have them refocus about American values, families, and jobs. we need to send a strong message to money hungry wall street driven corporations that dont give a flying f--- about us and our families. We need to support up and coming companies that do value Amercan values.

Agreed this video is distasteful. Att has suffered at the hands of leadership, but customer abuse isn't appropriate "payback".

Telling the truth about bad culture, stale ideas, bad m&a's paid for in surplus, high performer targeted surplus etc is how you shine a light on the foolishness.

Not treating customers poorly - they didn't cause this mess.

this was a vendor center. the vendor was given 60 days notice of their closing. the vendor may have chose and the company may have agreed mutually to close prior to 60 days. the fact that something like this video occurred is one of the reasons said center isn't open anymore.

there is a lot of things to dislike about our company but this is misleading.

Wow I don't know what to make of it really. About abusing customers (this center also answers vz calls too) because Randall is tanking the company and then getting glowing Dallas press/CEO of the Year awards - isn't exactly how to solve problems.

This can easily be spun by the great used car salesman himself. It's bad form for a bad actor. But you can't "punish" people like Randall with this sort Of behavior. There's an award coming soon to PR this all away. JD powers, Goodhousekeeping ...
