Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T running out of options

Fasten your seat belts , hope and pray that AT&T's game of chance works, to a company to forgot what innovation means one thing is certain the job bledding will continue.

this company willing to take a huge financial hit to get its new online TV service, DirecTV Now, off the ground, - part of a gambit to win over Washington regulators through the hundreds of lobbists that they have in payroll, AT&T is gambling that low-cost offerings will allow it to attract customers now, while still giving it the option of raising prices later, the typical intro.price bait and switch maneuver that made this company famous

Win or lose Randy and those at the highest echelons of Management will depart this sinking ship with golden parachutes. When this house of cards fails it's going to be catastrophic for the economy.

This idiot declined to be interviewed by the Dallas news today, in which they said, he seems the least likely of innovators, with an approach to business that often scrunches down to the technical aspects of finance. he’s also has guided AT&T’s tectonic shift that will cost jobs, there is no way around that!

The stocks back up but then again everything is. Nobody can't say that Randy isn't trying but it's same old status quo approach, ensconced in old thinking/paradigms.

But these "smartest guy in the room" types know everything and won't acknowledge when their time is up.

Randy is turning T in to an empty shell, no employees just contractors, no viable strategy just happy slogans and no unique or special offerings to customers just a gamble on becoming the only option through monopoly business practices.

Randy is out of touch and he thinks this service will attract Millenials. I can almost guarantee that this $35/mo plan is either a promo or a bare bones service. Young customers, like myself, use Netflix, Hulu or another service to watch their shows and for news there's plenty out there besides the "big three" that are available on paid tv. No, this service will flop HARD.
