It's old news that HPE sold it's Enterprise Services division to CSC. Announced yesterday is the news that HPE will be outsourcing it's own I.T. operations to CSC: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/11/16/hpe_to_outsource_global_it_team_to_csc_borg/

I believe this is Meg's doing. I believe she has a stake in the post split CSC success.
She wants CSC to start off with a huge IT contract with a large company like HPE.
CSC can run that up their PR flagpole in an attempt to attract more business.
"We provide IT for HPE! That's YUUUGEE!"
"Little by little everything is falling apart in front of our own eyes." Not only are Hewlett and Packard being dealt a huge insult, so are all of the former Compaq and EDS employees who came from companies that each had a proud heritage trashed by the failure machine that HP/HPE has become since Fiorina, Hurd, Apotheker and now Meg have had their ways. It is both sad and disgusting at the same time. Sad that our companies are no longer around but also disgusted at the HUGE payouts to those failed and current CEO's. They represent everything wrong about corporate America.
This makes sense. HPE doesnt provide IT Operations itself anymore (after moving ES to Everett Spinco). Only servers is left, and they still need IT Ops for the company.
CSC Networks are with AT&T, not anything else.
Actuality HPE sold ES to CSC who actually outsources their IT operations to AT&T. So technically HPE will be outsourcing their IT to AT&T thru CSC.
Good way tojettison a pile of IT ops. people. Good Luck with CSC :-)
Ha! Now we truly are a "boxes" shop. So, we won't sell "solutions" anymore... We'll sell boxes to solution providers... We should change our name... Having the last names Hewlett and Packard is a big insult to the founders. Meg is unstoppable... Little by little everything is falling apart in front of our own eyes.
