Just part of the stock rotation since Trump won. Tech & telecom among those down. Not company specific.

Nah - Verizon is now not so politically popular. They own the Huffington Post that has done nothing but trash President-elect Trump. The company is a key H1B and job outsourcing abuser. And the company is the home to political correctness. Throw on top of that a management team that has no comprehension of telecom outside of wireless, a company saddled with a mountain of debt in a slow economy, and you have a problem.
probably because there was talk of Verizon backing out of the yahoo deal. Maybe the market did actually like the deal.
