DirectTV now for $35 a month with 100 channels

I wonder how AT&T plans to make its margins for $35 a month. This price undercuts them more than their competition. Maybe, they are dreaming of making up with advertising revenue. Let's see how this will play out.

It's because they have removed the overhead of a DTV installer and not paying anyone any commission to sell it. They can afford to keep price low if they have removed what they would pay employees.

You need volume and specialized "house of cards" exclusive type programming.

Randall is pulling at straws and would never create the kind of content that would seal this deal.
