Thread regarding Follett layoffs

The latest email about PTO no carry over is ridiculous. Make up your mind EXECUTIVE TEAM.

Make a plan and stick to it. And quit taking it out on the backbone of your company, your team members.

FOLLETT FAMILY--you should be ashamed yourselves for letting this happen. Are you that desperate that you cut the wages of single moms and employees who are just barely getting by to line your pockets. Aren't your investments enough to live comfortably?

EXPECT MASSIVE STAFF OFF ON MARCH 31st to use up all vacation time. RM should be forced to open/close stores that week and cover for managers who need to use their vacation accrued from January and February.

This is no way to run a business.....SO SAD IT'S LAUGHABLE.

It was just a year ago that Follett changed the Vacation Policy now they are doing it again. You change the policy two times in a year and say you Value Each and Every Team Member?

If we accrue each hour we work, how is it possible to use it all up by March 31? On March 30 we will accrue.

It is going to be funny, the stores that are tiny and managers are told to close for lunch breaks, how is it going to work when those managers take their vacations?

So true. There is no passion or motivation to do a great job any longer. The only decent benefit left is the 401k match, hope that does not change.

Ditto. Greed rules. No carry over is just accounting bs. Doesnt truly make you more money. Moving cutoff date to end of march increases pain for families who use most vacation in summer.
