I have a practical question - how does Oracle notify remote workers when they are laid off? How is the exit interview (or layoff interview) conducted - who participates and what do they tell you. Thank you!

No warning, just brought into the office and told you're terminated effective immediately. Pack up and go home, and we will escort you out too, by the way, even though you weren't fired for cause.
For severance.....if you have 20 years of service, does that equate to 20 weeks of severance? I would assume there would be a cap on the number of weeks.
Phone call on the morning out of nowhere: oracle is restructuring and you are affected ....
Our team got a notice on Monday for a meeting on Tuesday morning that it would be best if we attend in person. We all gathered in the conference room with 2 remote workers by phone to have our VP (also let go) give us the bad news.
We got 4 weeks for first year + 1 week for each additional year.
Thanks @twr
How they calculate the package? Two week for fist year and one week for each addition year?
Clarification... I got the meeting invite the day before with no details as to what the meeting would be about. (The meeting was for the next day, aka termination date).
I was scheduled a 1-1 meeting with director day before. There's not much of an exit interview, just a phone call basically telling you your position was eliminated. You can ask questions but most of the information regarding severance will be sent to you via mail the day of.
