What the heck happened to Verizon? Bought out by a little Podunk company like frontier? I started with GTE back in 1971 and took the retirement buy out package in 2003 (best day of my life) GTE was a great company to work for until Bell Atlanic bought them out then things went downhill from there. Sounds like the cow is drying up

What do you call the top 5 execs at Verizon? Milk Duds!

Yes crazy how vz sold all its former GTE territories and now frontier is left with a mess. If only vz truly expanded fios we would have amazing coverage like att. Att keeps expanding gigabit internet across all their landline markets . If you go to att fiber map, ever att state they support has green all across the map. But no you see frontier failing , and multiple cities (philly, NYC) about to sue vz as they didn't complete their deployment .

This is shocking. I thought home telephone service was the future. Next thing you know we won't have home milk delivery.
