Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Layoffs

Is it sad that as an RAE I am running to become a store manager of a level three because that's about the only "safe" job? I'm tired of this company being secretive. Give us an EXACT number and which organizations you'd like to see reduced, eliminated and/or consildiated by 2020. Give your hard working employees the decency of knowing the future.

I am currently a RAE and had a good performing COR store location just change to AR. I knew about the change about 2 months before it happened. They did not tell the store employees about the change until the last minute (less than 2 weeks) to find other jobs in the company or become unemployeed.

When I questioned what was going on management stated this was part of the 2020 plan. In 2017 we will see a lot of changes to COR locations. If we are still around.

RAE /NAE positions are going to be eliminated. Would be wise to look elsewhere.as our channel is not going to be part of the new T

I don't think COR is safe. level one and level two stores are either going to be closed or handed over to authorized retail. Level III stores, flagship stores and stores of the future will be the only ones left.

True the T didn't like this sight....shines a spotlight on their shady deals and the way they treat their people!

You think COR is safe? That's funny...

The majority of COR stores will be offed to AR and that means the "safe" jobs are just a way to get you out of the NAE / RAE positions. The Mobility channel is operating at 50% under the headcount of last year so you can see the path they are taking.

You are right about that but not all COR stores. If you're a big barn, flagship or a store of the future you are good.

Some keep saying AR will stay and COR stores will start closing. Still feel unsafe.

They could care less about their employees they are secretive and piece meal the lay offs so as to not tip off the media et al as too how they can justify billion dollar deals that lead to no job creations and thousands of lay offs. They think they are cute and no one will find out. Surprise a--holes the internet is here to shine a light on you vampires.
