I was surplused with 20+ years and 2 co-workers with 30+ years were surplused at the same time. Longevity = long gone.
Now that's funny! A surplused employee hounded about CP training. Sounds pretty typical for AT&T.
I am surplussed and I get the nasty email on completing CP (strike duty) training and all I can do is point at my screen, laugh, and ignore it.
Every quarter, workers with -20 years seniority condemned to be surplus over and over, bump, move , out, and repeat
