DTV Now is less than a good joke !

"...On my Apple TV, I was only able to watch for 60 seconds at a time before the screen went white, and I could only hear audio. That problem could only be correct by rebooting the Apple TV device, which would provide another minute or so of video before it went white again.

My desktop browser also required frequent rebooting and restarting, issues I never have while using other streaming services..."

This indicates that T & DTV have not figured out a good streaming strategy yet ! It's not supposed to be that bad and in theory, should be able to handle alot of channels seamlessly. Well, this is worse than what I did in 2003 !!!!

Have you ever noticed AT “Employees don’t quit working for companies, they quit working for their bosses.” Regardless of tenure, position, title, etc., employees who voluntarily leave, generally do so out of some type of perceived disconnect with leadership, often they are the achievers and disruptors, the exact type of employees that companies are looking for, time to wake up AT&T

T is always having issues! Everything they do seems to backfire. I would had been mad if I hadn't gotten a free Apple TV...

DirecTV Now is taking baby steps. You’ll have to wait until next year for DVR-functionality. There’s no 4K video or 5:1 surround sound audio. CBS and Showtime are among the key missing content providers — negotiations are said to be underway. The NFL Sunday Ticket offering that has long been a draw for DirecTV satellite subscribers is also not available. Nor is the popular NFL RedZone channel.

What’s more, while you can watch your local Fox, ABC and NBC channels in select markets, the ability to watch NBC local is for now limited to phones, tablets or computers.

And at 3:59 p.m. ET today, after AT&T issued its statement saying the 'issue' had been resolved, DIRECTV Now's Twitter customer service page said the problems were continuing.

Can T do anything right? Looks like the failed Obama Care online launch, 100 people tried to access te site at te same time and crashed, way to funny, and this is coming from the so called innovator Randall

DIRECTV Now's Debut: A Total Nightmare

Washington, D.C. (December 1, 2016) - DIRECTV Now's first day was marred with widespread technical issues that left many new customers unable to watch any of its channels or even login, according to user posts at social media sites and DIRECTV Now's own Twitter customer service page.

DirecTV Now, AT&T's new online streaming service, got off to a somewhat rocky start.

People trying to sign up for DirecTV Now's free trial, which was launched yesterday, initially weren't able to set up an account. (I had the same problem this morning, though I did eventually succeed.) Others complained about buffering issues and trouble watching shows.

Another common complaint on Twitter came from those who received an "error 60" message that prevented them from streaming. This message indicated that that they were trying to stream content on more than two devices, even though they were using just one.

When asked for a comment, AT&T said in an email, "We experienced an issue last night that prevented some customers from streaming. Engineers resolved the issue and we haven’t experienced it since."
