RG mentioned that we need to hit our numbers because that is what we promised to do. Funny, I don't remember anyone asking me about my budget. And I sure the hell didn't make a promise that I would hit it. He also mentioned that he is accountable. He should be, it was his promise, so it should be his head. However, who are the ones being held to the fire...the ones who had no say in the numbers. Anyway. Actions speak louder than words. And the actions not being taken against the executive suite is speaking volumes of our "leaders" values and ethics.

How do you work at a company that fuels education? What about a paycheck? The paycheck is the object of topic- the promise. We have to hit a number because its our promise. Yes, well there was a promise of a paycheck, too. Benefits were promised. Pay for performance was promised. The paycheck doesn't go as far as it used to, and it's under threat. We should get our paycheck from some other company that keeps its promises.
Clear enough, Sherlock?
What is the nonsense about a paycheck?
My paycheck must take me through to month's end. That's the promise. You cut my pay and decreased my benefits. More comes out of my check. But my promise is to make the check last through month's end. Looks like I best find a new job. Perhaps a new employer will help me keep my promises.
Hell I get in trouble for just a 1700 oversight.
So for him to be accountable, the rest of us must sacrifice for his poor planning, judgement and lack of direction. Unforeseen 17m in E/O. How in the hell do you over look 17m? Thanks team RG. This oversight just cut my 401 and PTO. I believe the two combines a 10m savings.
