Just heard official word this morning that the R a E position is remaining exempt effective immediately. I wonder if they are doing this because of the temporary injunction that a federal judge placed against the Department of Labor ruling or if they are doing this because they are finally going to change our pay mix back to what it should be.

Really? No RAE's after the 1st QTR of 2017? How can that be possible? Who would support the AR especially if they are expanding and taking over the COR locations?

Exactly. We do the work of an ARSM but are compensated less than an ASM. Don't get me wrong, ASMs work hard and deserve every bit of their pay but so do we.
If they just left us on the old pay plan (+$12,000) and $333 at risk all this stupid non-sense wouldn't have occurred because virtually everyone would be over the $47, 700 base threshold. These Federal OT laws came about in May to start on Dec, 1 and these BlockHeads at AT&T still moved us back to the old pay plan knowing (but obviously not understanding) what was coming in Dec.
AT&T has become embarrassing to work for...PERIOD.

Which makes no sense considering we will be on boarding quite a few more AR doors over the next few years.
It really doesn't matter the classification as the positions are coming to an end. They may agree to whatever but the jobs in this category will end Q1 2017.
