COR to AR 2Q2017

Just received confirmation that AT&T plans to switch all of their COR stores to AR some time in March is the tentative timeline right now. Not sure if this impacts flagship stores (my guess it won't).

It's not so straight forward, it appears they are coming up with a value of the store. Look for the davaco posts.

Me thinks they have been looking at all the costs and deciding from there.

I understand they will just get rid of management. What will happen with the reps since they are union? Of course management is clueless on why they are having to do so many observations and with those have to give out so many 1's. Which 1's will get a rep fired. They are told that they have to do it to save their jobs!

For obvious reasons I can't name my source on this but @dkz is correct. I can say my source is someone "in the know".

Except this time around it won't be just a few. Unless you're working in a high-volume level III, STOF or flagship, you're not working in a COR store.

Whitespace locations aren't anything new, we've been doing this for awhile now. Sounds more like business as usual with a few low volume locations moving in each market.

OP where did you hear this?

This is NOT happening with ALL COR stores. It is called project white space. We are handing our low volume locations over to AR. We will only keep our stores of the future, flagship and big barn (very high volume) locations. It eliminates benefits, real estate, etc.
