We lost 4 Managers and 9 Team Leaders yesterday. It did seem to be more based on tenure than rankings. At this time, CSR's are non-bargained employees since AT&T won't come to the table to start contract negotiations with a union representation. Many CSR's are wondering when our time will be up..yet management is saying they have no plans to close the call center down. Time will tell.

Huntsville is still be open...it just won't be what it used to be, and a lot more space will be used for other workers--not call center employees.
i don't think it was that many managers...
We were former DTV employees, always a great place to work. The TL's were from Customer loyalty Group, formally CRG, retention. Also Ace TL's were included in the layoff. The managers were over the TL's in some of these areas. The big call center is located in Research Park Huntsville. Before the merge, we had over 1800 employees. Now we are down to around 300-400. Several agents have said it feels like the place is slowly dying daily. We are all hoping there will be hope for the ones left working there.
well I have no idea where that is. Didnt know they had customer service reps
DTV or former Bellsouth?
Customer service rep
Which department in Huntsville, I didn't hear anything about it. And what are CSR's.
