Folks get an email w/ your ATT UID tagged on it. That has the details of your options.

My cube-mate was surplussed in aug of 2014. He received a pro-rated bonus in 2015. It was a nice surprise.

Also I wanted to add those who volunteered and accepted Do Not have the luxury of a 60 day window, as those who Did Not volunteer and chosen as being surplused.

Do the affected employees get the bonus for the year come march 2017? Or they don't qualify since they no longer are with AT&T?

My experience from past rounds, is those who volunteered and accepted where to be off the payroll in a 3 week interval, with some exceptions of metering to allow for transitioning of duties.

Rumor is those who volunteer will not offset the number of those effected. They'll just be added to the list after the fact.

I would think not. We have someone in our team who volunteered and that person has not been told if they will be leaving or not. I would think at some point the boss would inform the person they were accepted to depart and their last day would be mm/dd. That way work duties could be transitioned.

Those who volunteered will be off payroll by the same date those who didn't will be.
