I've got two job prospects in line. I'm so sad to even be considering this. I care about my team, my campus, and my students. I come to work and greeted by some wonderful people. I'm on a few committees that don't even pertain to the bookstore because I care about the campus. I help with orientation events and other activities. And did it without hesitation. How do I justify continuing to do these without compensation?

That is the exact problem. Employees in the store care about their employees, campus and school and the home office does not care about you.
You need to take care of yourself, Follett does NOT care about us. Get out when the getting is good!
You won't be able to anyway. You are going to be tied to the cash register. So much for campus relations.
