Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

America? American workers? make America Great again? (no politics)

So we keep hearing about the clowns running for president and how we either will continue to be great or will become great again. I am sorry, ALL of corporate America totally screws American workers with the constant Domestic layoffs and outsourcing work that could be done in the US. Randall and all of these execs get millions of dollars of bonuses, while we the working class that make 1% of what they make continuously have to worry about survival. The time is now that is not acceptable and not fair.

RESPECT EXISTENCE OR EXPECT RESISTANCE,

these executives keep taking away our food and shelter from our families, they will eventually need to feel the pain and suffering so many of us have already felt, or will feel...

Americans need to wake up and stop this nonsense BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!!

You really think things are great in this country? You're obviously making more than we are pal. This country is in a downward spiral.

Look at web phone. Some supervisors have groups that are 100% contractors. The norm in ATO is more like 50-80%. Some contractors are USA based, but many more are Tech Mehindra, a company in India. When here terms like off shore that means non-USA contract firms. They are taking our jobs. No on in government to date has done one darn thing about it. Only Ross Perot mentioned this at time some folks can't remember, and the media called him a crack pot. However, we all know Ross was right and the media was wrong. Does anyone else see a pattern with modern day news?

Now, why does off shoring exist in the first place? Follow the money. India doesn't have a FICA tax, workers comp tax, etc. Follow the money, until there is a level playing field regarding the money, the corporations are going to export jobs as fast as the legally can while dodging media scrutiny.

On February 26, 2015, the FCC ruled in favor of net neutrality by reclassifying broadband as a common carrier under Title II of the Communications Act of 1934 and Section 706 of the Telecommunications act of 1996. This allows

Keep in mind the purpose originally was to PREVENT company's from charging different costs for the same things provided over the "Network"

today the company's ( including ATT and others) wanted to charge different fees for different content

such as video streaming vs. simple browsing.

Net neutrality does not exist in other countries and some who want the "One World" think we should not have it also.

The FCC drafted & republicans passed net neutrality....Net Neutrality is about not letting the big companies screw over the small companies for equal access to the internet, so how is that a bad thing? Your comment is very disengenious

Why does the subject of outsourcing jobs never come up when Congress reviews corporate mergers and acquisitions?

Sure the politicians are bought and paid for but we should still raise this as a critical issue.

We know one thing for sure, all of Randy's plans define success as the outsourcing of american jobs.
