Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

What a sad situation, Granny Meg and top management getting ready to bail ...

Granny was at the last presidential debate and she is obviously looking for other opportunities. The same is true for other top management, all of these incompetent people were here to conduct a garage sale on behalf of their Wall Street friends. They never had the leadership skills or the vision to do much good so they did what they were good at and made tons of money by selling off the family silver. WHAT a shame.

HP has lacked leadership for a long time. From Carly on, each came in to cash out what they could.

Meg has no shame. It is as if she does not feel anything, no remorse or any such thing. All that matters to her is the number of 0's in her account and power. She is completely devoid of leadership and innovation skills. How come she became the CEO of this company, she is really the Trojan horse of the Wall Street, she seemed great but had a dark agenda from day one. She's been lying all along.

The best for HPE? The whole purpose of "HPE" was to spin out those segments of HP which were planned for eventual sale from the get-go. There is not going to be an "HPE" as of 2018. For the Micro Focus peeps, this is actually a good opportunity. If you don't get cut before the merger, you are set.

When I got kicked out of HP/HPE in Jan of 2015, I thought that was the worst thing that could have happened to me... Now, I see it as a big blessing. After 20 years with the Company, I had no real motivation to look for another job outside, and I would have stayed there incredibly frustrated (I was very frustrated already , but "accepted" it to avoid the fear of looking for another job at my age). It took me four months to find another job, but I am so happy now... I'm not even sure how to describe it. When you look at HPE from the outside, you realize that its many, many times much worse than what you thought it already was.

She's gone for sure - that was clearly always the plan. She getting a NICE payout for the damage she's done, and we get to enjoy the leftovers. It's going to get a LOT worse before it gets better, even once she's gone...There is no turning back at this point, Bill and Dave's Hewlett Packard is irreparable and GONE forever.

Write your elected officials-meg should not be allowed to ooze into office. She has enough going against her that it might make for entertaining congress hearings.

It's a win/win for Whitman. She gets into politics (as she has wanted for a while), and she gets tons of money from her pre-negotiated exit terms. It's a no-brainer... If Clinton wins, Whitman will be offered a position on her cabinet, and she'll leave by the end of Q1. I think that's the best scenario for all of us still at HPE. That woman needs to leave... She's tearing this Company in pieces, and Wall Street loves it. It will be extremely difficult to her successor to sell a different strategy to the investors... I'm not sure if her damage can still be reversed at this point.
