Wouldn't it be great if the CSuite had to go before Congress like Epipen and Wells Fargo?? The mess they've made of the company with their outrageous salaries. It would be awesome to see them sweat and to be criticized, ridiculed and judged - just the way they treat their employees!! Fire them all!!

Lowell makes $18.5Million a year. Comparing his outrageous overcompensation to other overcompensated "executives" is exactly how the board approves the excessive "executive" compensation programs. Plus they sit on each others boards and vote fat raises for each other..... good old boys club. The only way they can continue to take more for themselves is to steal from the minions. Then hand out trinkets and pins and a pat on the head for the overachieving minions to make them happy little employees. Our executives are greedy pigs. Most are underperformers, clueless about the business and under qualified. They need to stop sealing from the employees and stuffing their pockets.
The CEO of Mylan gets paid about the same Lowell. Her company's revenue is $9B whereas Verizon's is $132B. Mylan is ripping off people who depend on Epi-pens. Marissa Mayer, soon to be former CEO of Yahoo, got paid $52M a year, and she basically watched as the company went down the tubes.
Lowell, like all people, is not perfect, but he's not exactly milking the position the way other CEOs do.
Like the poor Wells Fargo exec who had to take a $150 million buy out. She's really hurting. Good thing she's still eligible for her 3rd quarter bonus. I love how the CEO had the balls to sit at the hearing and say he wasn't aware that this fraud was going on. These no good piece of $hit criminals need to be put out of their misery. The golden parachutes from these executives should be evenly distributed amongst the workforce and these scumbags should be thrown in jail for the rest of their worthless lives. Verizon is guilty of screwing it's customers in a similar fashion but is somehow managing to stay out of the spotlight. Verizon was caught cramming products on customer accounts some time ago and this business practice continues still today. Whether it's data being placed on a wireless account that is only used for emergency calls, unnecessary static ip's being placed on business accounts, internet being placed on a senior citizens home account even though they don't own a computer or placing "free" movie packages on a customers account without their consent, Verizon is guilty, guilty, guilty. These business practices are all the result of the "sell or else" management team. Don't worry, when the $hit hits the fan, no one will know anything.
Gotta love it when politicians grill executives on the obscene compensation. These jokers should just shut their mouths, government officials are a joke. They love having hearings like this, they think it takes all eyes off them.
Dream on. You know those congressional hearings are just dog and pony shows. Since when has ANYTHING ever happened because of one? Politicians are as worthless as VZ leadership. They are all in bed with each other.
