People posting that nothing is true on this sight are the ones doing the lay offs. Tipical AT&T smoke to cover their tracks and image to the public!

I'd day it's about a 60/40 or 70/30 split with a margin of error that is fueled by anger and resent. The higher number represents accuracy.
Don't let people tell you the stuff on here is all nonsense--it is most certainly not.
The majority are not credible. If you hang around long enough you will start being able to have a good idea which ones are legit and which are bogus.
Don't misunderstand though. There are definitely a lot of layoffs going on around the company.
We got our notice two weeks ago that our dept will lose 2-3 managers. Once automation goes live next yr, we'll probably see a surplus every qtr until our dept closes. That recently happened to a sales center here. It's closing at the end of this month. That was probably around 80 craft and 12 managers.
I was laid off from AT&T in September 2015. I belI've most of the posts here are credible. AT&The isn't the company it used to be.
