I would think mobility is the safest! Good luck!
If you look at the direction ATT is moving, being in Mobility is better than just about every other area. As the other post stated, learn on the company dime and if it comes you will be better off then not having learned more.
Looking at this board will make you worry even more. Watching this board gets in to your head. AT&T has well over 200,000 employees and they're always going to be laying off or downsizing in one way or another. Build your skills at the companies expense and if your day comes you'll be in a great position to be an asset to another company.
