To all the AT&T veterans that have survived round after round of layoffs, does the awful work environment ever get better? For reference, I am a DIRECTV employee that sees a lot of good in AT&T's brand, network, global reach and SDN future, but the post-merger acquisition is AWFUL. Backstabbers, credit-stealers and generally rotten behavior from so many people (and DTV is definitely a part of that equation too), that I'm really wondering if all this garbage settles down after awhile, or if the work environment is actually a product of the cycles of layoffs...and it never really gets better.
If it's the latter I'm actually hoping I get laid off.
Thoughts?
