Project Fi is just one of over a dozen MVNO's that are cheaper, better and more consumer friendly than Verizon.

The era of the wireless dump pipe has begun. No one cares about better matters anymore. Because better is cheaper.

Verizon, along with AT&T will be mere shadows of the companies they are today in the not too distant future. I guarantee it.

What infrastructure? Verizon sold it's network to American Tower. They only have landline and spectrum left.

This is the biggest reason i could see Google making a play for vz. If they could add vz infrastructure they'd really rule the world

I'd pay $100 per phone on my 5 phone plan with fi.

Just dumb

I switched to this service after being kicked to the curb by Verizon. It works great and my monthly bill is about $35. Same price for data all over the world too.

The issue with it right now is you are only able to use Nexus devices. From what I was told they currently are the only phones that are able to switch between carriers seamlessly which mine seems to do. It switches from T Mobile to Sprint all the time and I wouldn't even know it if I did not have an app downloaded to tell me which carrier I am on. The open wifi access works good too.

This is probably the future of wireless. Where carriers are just dumb pipes and MVNO's are king. We'll see though. Still in the early stages.

Yep, it's old news that all the millennials will be moving too. And the old men running Verizon will be gone soon because of it.
