Thread regarding AT&T Inc. layoffs

Atlanta and Dallas

I wish those of you who have no idea what you're talking about would stop posting as if you do. Cuts are coming.

Will it be Monday? I don't know, but I do know it's not across "all segments."

I also know there is no such thing as a "3+3+1". Also, 90% is a gross exaggeration for jobs in Atlanta and Dallas. Dallas is the company headquarters, obviously there will be many jobs there. Atlanta is the major wireless hub.

But there are several other hubs that between the 5 or 6 of them combined won't make up 90% of the jobs.

The company did not expect everyone to do their training so instead of creating jobs that they promised they're just cutting jobs without any options.

If you look around you will see many with their head in the sand. No one likes to admit the direction ATT is moving to is contractor and remote support for various systems including Mobility overseas.

The numbers given are not all in the USA. Go to Phone and do a search for people under a VP. then drop out the "non employees. Then count the overseas employees vs. US.

After you get up off the floor start looking for a job.

Bruce wayne is right. Its no surprise 2020 was talked about way back in 2012 with its internal employees.

And what source did you get your information from? Well, Randall has said that by around 2020 they will not need as many employees. Apparently they eventually want to reduce the workforce by 130.000, this was told to a division by a VP about a year ago.
