Open letter to Lowell, VPs, and High level managers

Could you please revise the EISP packages you offered to everyone across the board wherever the EISP was offered? The reason I ask is you have a significantly aging work force that a lot of men and women are suffering ailments and just wanna leave with alittle extra money in their pocket to live on. Yes, there will probably be a mass exodus, but then you can backfill with the people that remain then Verizon can hire a younger workforce for the next 20 plus years. Also, they will be at a severely reduced pay scale to start. I also ask this for the employees who put 25yrs plus in and just wanna go with alittle extra, but their titles didn't get called. This would make more sense then a targeted EISP that a lot of people aren't going to take.

Hopefully someone reads that and will push it up to Sullivan or the bean counters but don't hold your breath. Don't forget they hate us. However remember during the strike they said they didn't need us but now they won't let us go.

If this is the way you feel, why not send them a company email? Do you really think that they spend their time on these boards? They have regular email addresses just like the rest of us. You can find them in the corporate directory on eweb.

They can control the "mass exodus" if it happens by staggering off-payroll dates. And the loss of personnel would be a shadow of what was lost during the strike (remember how the company made daily statements regarding how easy it was to make commitments with its EWA force)?
