Randy knows nothing about the content business. Here he is buying one at twice the price it traded at earlier in the year. I wonder if Whitacre thinks he made the right choice now.
There's a fire side chat coming. Get ready for that sweet talking Randall euphoria.....
I hope the terms aren't similar to T-Mobile. (Paying 6+ billion if deal doesn't close. Hopefully Randall is practicing his used car pitch to the FCC. It cant be that this deal will create more jobs. (He used that justification on T-Mobile deal and FCC determined it was a lie). And hence one of the biggest reasons att backed out.
Anytime you buy a company you take on their debt. We already have $110 billion in debt as it is from dumb--ses other acquisitions. As somebody said earlier, in order to pay for this, you have to cut overhead and the easiest place to start is with a dying technology like landline services. Being that I work on the landline side, I seriously doubt that I will be on the company payroll come 2018. Interesting item I read is that we only have $7.2 billion in available cash so this purchase will have to be financed. Since we already have $110 billion in debt already, Moody's says our credit rating could also take a hit.
Rumor mill- another 1/3rd of the company still has to get laid off under Randall's plan by 2020 and they are buying Time Warner. The money to pay for this is coming off the backs of those to be laid off of which I'm about to be one.
However Donald Trump says he will bock the deal if he is elected President.
😂😂😂😂 Trump is a business man if anything he'd probably just ask for a cut in on the deal.
Not so fast my friends. This still has to clear regulatory approval which I am sure Randall paid off the right people. We well see thougj. However Donald Trump says he will bock the deal if he is elected President. Whatever happened to concentrating on running game what you had and running it well?
Randall Frey - going to throw another Red Wedding in the form of massive layoffs to pay for this.
It's ok Randy plans on more layoffs next year to pay for it.
