My inside sources on Wall Street have signaled this deal will not finalize over the weekend. Too many obstacles to clear and capital restructuring has to happen before this merger happens.

Lol, this site is losing credibility by the second. What a moron.
If you spent more time doing research and less time trolling and name calling you'd know that half of your post is incorrect. I'm well aware of the CT sale. I'm also well aware of the particular circumstances around it. Those circumstances do not exist across the entire wireline footprint. And they don't exist within frontier now either.
True, my department was closed after a recorded VP call.
The center in Meriden CT is a ghost shop.
Connecticut has 4980 ATT employees. Frontier took 2300
Want to guess how many of the approximately 2600 remain with ATT in CT?
630 and going down very quietly. NONE were given jobs in other states.
Fool do you think Verizon and the east thought Frontier was a myth?
ATT is dumping all wireline in a move to wireless everything. Did you hear they also purchased DTV?
If you get your head out of your A-- you would see the writing on the telephone pole.
Wireline is not going to Frontier. Give it a rest already.
I think they want the content, makes sense. Other posts say wireline assets in talks to be sold to frontier line we just saw in GLA market.
Infowars is a rapist. listen to no agenda show instead.
I've read in two different articles today analysts saying this is probably a bad move - licensing content is always cheaper than buying it. Of course, the SBC boys don't know how to a business in any way other than tacking on other companies. Lots of the "little people" are going to lose their jobs due to this move.

Outside looking in on this deal has me intrigued for both companies. TW comes from a position of strength whereas T has massive debt as of end of 3rd qtr. With all that said shareholders of TW and T stand to win from this deal when it happens. This is a much better target for T than the Yahoo target from earlier this past summer.
This is a sign that Ma Bell's rebirth as a phone company will end very soon.
Its Time Warner Inc. Not time Warner Cable. Two different parts of the company that report separate earnings.
Another shiny object to buy and destroy...great.
Yep, lay me off and go buy another company. What a way to give me the warm and fuzzies inside. They will probably have less than 100K employees by 2020, mark my words.
