Thread regarding AT&T Inc. layoffs

Is there any news that a Enhanced Pension Offer (EPO) might be coming in November? I think November has been the typical time frame in the past.

Not sure what would ever make you believe when all these workgroups are having surplus conditions that AT&T would offer EPO at this time.

Wake up, enhanced dreamers, no wonder why T is showing them the door, those who have no other option but to stay..

Echoing a post here. I haven't seen any paper work post Oct. 28. There were several organizations that had special meetings for surplus around Oct. 3 and Oct. 4. If you do not get a package, you are simply declared surplus and have 60 days (basically the end of December) to find another job in AT&T. Then you are simply let go. I saw a general announcement (ABC news) that stated 1.5% of the work force, or approximately 4500 people. If you search in AT&T using words layoff or surplus, you will find the disabled t-space profiles of those who lost their jobs. There is no package. Maybe if you are lucky and have the time you will get 6 months pay. That's best I've heard or read.

Keep dreaming. No "enhanced" packages are coming.

Not being offered. Asked this question specifically on the surplus call. Oct 28, all non voluntary surplus will be notified one by one by their director.
