I do not believe there is layoff. Why do they not appear in news source? I think this is the lazy American with body full of jealousy for VDSI.
VDSI folks are true leechers.
VDSI can provide all the service of VES with lower cost and higher revenue. You will see!

We're still here and doing just fine. Thanks again for paying for my vacation to Europe last month. You weren't paid because you walked away from your job. The reason your union membership continues to decline is because you all acted like a bunch of apes on the line and vilified everyone who wasn't a jumping ape.
My friends that were impacted today will do just fine. All of the impacted coworkers of mine have found better paying jobs in the industry because they continued to evolve their skills. They are in a industry that is in high demand and will continue to be. They realized that in today's world, while we all support a government that protects american jobs (stopping offshoring/visa's), no one should be entitled to a job forever.
Let me know how decades of performing a menial task works for you in the world after they sell you off/Let many of you go after the next contract period.

I am pretty sure IT layoffs will be the best thing that could happen to you in your career and you will realize that IT workers should be moving around from job to job getting experience.
Word on the street. Names are being round up. They are look at low performers. Around 10 to 15%. Good look to all because the person next to u may not be there. U can thank your upper management and VDSI!!!

I do recall the Union Striking Workers fighting for their jobs warning the IT EWA's of their very shortsightedness.

No worries. The only thing onshore IT is good for is EWA. All the "real" IT work is done offshore.
