EWAers crossed those picket lines to protect Verizons right to ship your a-- as far away as they want.

You got what you worked for....

I hope they don't close Rancho. I was let go last week and many told me to apply for Rancho or telesales but with the company crooked, I don't want to give them another chance to let me go a second time. I have a lot of friends in Rancho. Would be sad to see more cuts. I know too many who have been cut.

That's why they were insistent on loosening up that 35 mile rule with the union contracts.

@JOqXtV9-ayg - I would think that the push to close centers is to make a miserable work environment even more miserable. Who wants to drive 65+ miles to a job that already s---s. So people quit, no RIFs, no severance, no unemployment. Score for the execs! That's $$$ in their pockets.

Step over a dollar to pickup a dime, 24/7, 365. Always have, always will.

Better Matters....

My experience after being with VZW for 18 years is that it doesn't matter if the lease is up or not, if they want to close a center they will. I've even seen them close newly renovated centers.

My office had the lease paid up 24 months ahead. Prime location. Vehicles here. Workers here. Managment here.

Came in here in august and tood to pack up.

Now i commute 65+ miles for what?

No more work from home.

As a long time 20+ year employee i can never recommend verizon products due to the way we are treated.

What a scumbag corrupt company.
