Yes, Tuesday is the day you are called and told you are up for surplus.
ATO here- I'll know the end of the month if I am surplussed. No jobs internally, not really. I would think all the IT/engineering jobs would have been snapped up by other folks surplussed before me. However there is plenty of work.
If this is ATO What SVP/VP group are you in?
And what is the off payroll date? Last weeks announcements had off payroll 12/27. I am thinking if you were just notified this week of 10/10/2016 the off payroll would be early next year????
