Did everyone who were in the "affected list" as of yesterday get the survey for moving out voluntarily.
Lot of people on my team including me got the survey, but few didn't, does this really mean anything? Is it not that everyone gets this survey?

By far old people, the sick, and the near retirement folks, have the greater risk to go, you are dealing tp with a terrible CEO
People in same work group didn't all necessarily get the interest in leaving survey. Can vary based upon criteria set by departmental leadership such as job function, title, location, etc.
If you hired after 2001, even as a second time around, you get no pension. You have a 401K. I haven't received any survey or email for a package. If you get a package offer, it probably means you are definitely going. If you don't, I don't know what that means. it's not just clearing out old folks, I talked to some people, they have way more time than I do and they are not on notice for surplus.
The only "offer" is up to 6 months pay. Next year severance pay is being reduced.
Did the letter offering an enhanced pension plan? I would be considering this if I received the letter. I have the age and years to retire.
In my group, 5 are affected, 4 are not. All with the same supervisor. Does not make sense. Not sure how they pick who is at risk and who isn't. I would thing all in a group would be in the same boat.
I volunter to leave, but I know I won't be picked, I don't make as much as others in my group, they are targeting old folks, cutting their retirement short, it is all about pension and other benefits
My friend got the same letter yesterday. Are you in the Western region? What position do you have. I will give her this website so you two can chat.
