They are eliminating the OS and ES position nationwide. 11/04 is the last day on payroll. If you don't secure another job with in the company you get a severance package that is your weekly pay x number of years with the company x 2.

Right on brother!!!!!!!!!!!
Totally confirmed. Tali, what do you want to know?
Hopefully it will be matter of time that some sketchy business practices will come to light. We are the Frontline customer facing employees who helped bring in the money and keep operations in check and now they stab us in the back like this!?? 14 yrs dedicated and they fk me over like this? Y'all should see how much money the company wastes and spends on the stupidest st.
I was told today, this info correct.
I am IT, and this is the first company, and would actually think about joining a union.
(God help me)
Remember, when you get the next board of directors ballot in the mail, VOTE NO for all of these worthless criminals that are killing the middle class, and sending more and more of us to the unemployment line every year, while they are laughing all the way to the bank.
Just think, if you would have listened and organized, you would be able to fight for your job, and earn a better pay and benefits. Instead, you chose to drink the VZ Kool-Aid and union bash. Your current situation is why we chose to strike for 7 weeks and why we still have our jobs and our benefits. The good news is, it's never too late to organize. Now you seem to be getting the picture. The problem isn't the union or non-union associates, the problem is the management. Stop the rah rah bull$hi# on the eweb and start speaking the truth. Best of luck to everyone.
This honestly makes me sick. They will sh--can all these people that actually help customers that keep the company afloat, people making 30-40-50k/yr. Meanwhile all across the business there are how many thousands of people from DM level up making 100k + who do nothing, no nothing, and contribute absolutely nothing to the actual business. 95% of those useless upper management clowns could kick rocks tomorrow and it wouldn't effect the company one iota. I guess in a way it's just how corporate America works, but it really is disgusting.
