This is one of the reasons why I think Verizon purchased these huge companies this year... to control the news we see. Will anyone report this besides phone arena reporting "500 people handed pink slips"?

At least you get to keep your job! You didn't ask for this new position?! Well neither did all the loyal employees that got let go. Layoff the best and keep all the rest. It is people like you that work for this company that they should have let go. You selfish pr!ck.
Doubt the layoff total is that high, but it also didn't get reported last year. Not a surprise.

No surprise that the company trolled below the radar again. Remember, they own the Huffington Post!
Also remember that they cut 1 out of 5 managers in Basking Ridge and Dallas last year at this time, and no one heard about it but our families and Lee Hecht.
Good luck to all who were burned. I would like to say that there is hope, but most of the people that I know still have not found another job.
I know of 5 people laid off today in the Carolinas upstate retail district in the operations title and experience specialist.

just remember we are all just numbers to this company no matter if your a a-- kisser or a good or bad worker.thats how most american corporation are run these days .facts of life very few american companies appreciate their good workers,and in this place most of the upper upper mangement where not good workers,so therefore they treat their employees like crap cause they think that their doing what they themsevles use to do.sad but true,if you think this is the only layoff coming ,you waity and when they roll out their 5g service.

Many people let go today have put in many years into the company. I put in 14 yrs with 7 of them in management and I was still let go today. It will be a matter of time when the truth about business practices will come out.
