Management took 10 mins out of their clueless do nothing schedule to deliver the lame doom and gloom speech (thanks for your time). They will be sending out a form to fill out if you would be interested in leaving. Not even guaranteed they would pick you. The kicker is that there is no kicker you just leave with the standard severance package. So bottom line they are going to pick and choose who to give that to. After they figure out who wants to leave and who they decide to let leave...they will send in the hit squad to finish the dirty deed...all going down end of October. Happy Holidays!

CPADS AVP also gave a 10 minute speech. Good to know people who have dedicated most of their working lives to the company, some with over 30 years, only rated 10 minutes.
This isn't a center. Global Technology Operation Center (IT). Not just affecting this BU. This is company wide from what I can see and have heard.
