Call at 1400 today. Talking to the other departments this is not a good day to be a management employee at ATT.

Can confirm the netting has started
For TFS Business Services this is affecting Field, Staff, Engineering, and Project Managers in OH and NE IN. No numbers or percentages were announced.
Today is pre-notification date for affected work groups. Oct 28 individuals will be notified with a packet. Dec.27 is the off payroll date.
Just got off a call with my coworker. Many people got invite to 11am short call. No Q&A simply a call to tell all of them that they will get email where they may Volunteer to Depart AT&T. No details. I was told by my contact that they were also told that there will be surplussing at a later date. Reason for Volunteers is to have less Surplussing. My contact person was impacted and rightfully so very shocked and upset. I hope originator of this story is not in same boat at 1400hrs.
