Wow..Horrible and untactful week at AT&T. In the midst of customer service week, you drop the surplus bogey.. I'm hearing they are going to slash call center area managers with less than a 15:1 ratio and set the new structure up like vendors i.e. internal call center area managers will manage multiple sites. Sad day in our business.

Att never gives advance notice of surplussed layoffs. Everything is always hush hush till the day of
I don't even know how these people's salaries and commissions are justified. They don't grow the business because most of the business lines are churned from consumer.
I too heard they will be downsizing this position.
