...And stocks are holding significantly higher ($40) than average levels ($35) for the last 10 years. Good stock price for shareholders = layoffs. Perfect.

While DirecTV Now could siphon subscribers away from the satellite-TV service, the two-stream limit may not appeal to bigger-spending viewers with multiple TVs, tablets and phones. Depending on DirecTV Now’s success, AT&T could expand the service to include as many as 10 streams offering the kind of full-package that could replace conventional pay-TV.

Starting to look like Yahoo's acquisitions since 2010' and where are the now? Been digested by verizon , the mayer excretion it is in progress, as the process is taking place as we speak, I can anticipate nasty results

Welp he loves those shiny objects and he a master salesman. I'm fascinated that this reckless behavior goes unchecked by the board.

But I guess it goes back to that used car thing that he does so well. No one can outsell this man. All his town halls led by him have me riding high until reality of the numbers, culture etc sets back in.
